What are the advantages of adhesive tiling?
A small budget. It is clearly cheaper than traditional tiles. The lowest prices start at less than €5 per tile. However, prices vary and can be higher depending on the quality, design, and brand of the product.
Very simple installation. Installing a self-adhesive tile does not require removing the old covering or being a skilled mason. Even if you’re not handy, you’ll be able to lay your adhesive tiles with a little patience.
Ultra-simple maintenance. Without grout, this covering is easy to clean. Just a wipe with soap and water. Tip: Avoid using an abrasive sponge or brush that could damage it. Try the magic sponge!

What are the disadvantages?

How to install an adhesive tile?
Although installation is accessible to everyone, it is still necessary to be strict:
Prepare the media. The existing surface must be smooth, clean, and dry. I recommend degreasing the surface with acetone, for example, to prevent the new covering from peeling off.
Measure the surface to be covered. You will need to purchase about 10% more tiles to anticipate cuts and leaks.
Place without glue and dust. Just peel off the film from the back and attach the tiles side by side and line by line starting from the edge of the wall.
A tip: gradually remove the protective film and stick the tiles from top to bottom, smoothing with a squeegee to eliminate air bubbles.
